Comprehensive Cancer Care

Cancer is a diverse and complex disease with a wide range of clinical outcomes. Treatments can vary widely and include therapeutic interventions such as chemotherapy, surgery, radiation therapy, and supportive care. Many patients require a combination of these treatments. For the owners of pets diagnosed with cancer or a suspicion of cancer, it can be overwhelming and confusing to navigate through multiple appointments with various clinicians before they decide on a treatment course.

At Penn Vet's Ryan Hospital, we are changing all of that with Comprehensive Cancer Care.

What Is Comprehensive Cancer Care?

Comprehensive Cancer Care is a cross-disciplinary approach to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. With a core team of board-certified specialists in medical oncology, surgery, radiation therapy, and interventional radiology, we draw from the best minds in veterinary cancer care to come up with individualized solutions for our patients.

And we can provide a comprehensive assessment of each patient’s cancer care needs in one appointment. We then work with our clients every step of the way to navigate through the diagnosis and subsequent treatment plan for their beloved companion animals.
